We are looking for a Electrical Engineer Trainee.
As a Summer Trainee in Electrical engineering team, you will support our engineering teams in designing and developing electrical systems for Fastems automation solutions. You will work closely with experienced engineers and gain hands‑on experience in real customer projects.
Your tasks may include:
Assisting in electrical design for automation systems
Creating and updating electrical schematics and documentation
Collaborating with mechanical, software, and automation teams
Participating in testing and commissioning activities when needed
Job requirements
We are looking for a student who is eager to learn and motivated to develop their automation engineering skills.
Ideally, you have:
Ongoing studies in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field
Basic understanding of electrical design principles
Experience with Electrical CAD tools (e.g., EPLAN)
Understanding of electrical schematic design tools
Understanding of industrial automation principles and fieldbus systems (Profinet, EtherCAT)
Interest in automation, robotics, or industrial systems
A proactive attitude and willingness to take responsibility
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Fluent communication skills in English
